Father Noel Mueller
Biography:
Father Noël Mueller, OSB, a monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey, has a
master’s in English Literature and a master of Divinity. The first
10 years of his priesthood, he worked in the Peruvian Andes where he
taught in the seminary, was chaplain of a 250-bed regional hospital,
coordinated Marriage Encounter for the Diocese of Huaraz. Since
returning to the States, he taught English Lit to college students at
Saint Meinrad, worked with mentally disabled persons and ran the
Sabbatical Program for the School of Theology. Presently, he is serving
as the secretary to the archabbot while continuing to give popular
retreats and spiritual direction to seminarians, permanent deacons,
priests and lay persons.
